Art Nouveau silver plate on Pewter Coffee set. Circa 1900. Marked
Comprises a coffee pot, 5 glass holders, 5 saucers and a milk jug. Coffee pot measures approximately 18 cm high. Glass holders approx 4 1/2 cm high (excluding handle) and 4 1/2 cm diameter. Superb and classically art nouveau set.

Very unusual to find a near complete set and especially unusual to find saucers to accompany the glass holders. Really nice flowing naturalistic pattern. All pieces (apart from the milk jug) are stamped with the mark shown. I don't recognise this mark and unfortunately I can't attribute the set. It is almost certainly German or Austrian and clearly circa 1900.

The coffee pot is missing its lifting lever and has some areas of plate loss (see photos). All glass holders are in good condition.

The milk jug is in good condition. All saucers are undamaged but there is some tarnish and wear in places. The item "Art Nouveau silver plate on Pewter Coffee set. Marked" is in sale since Thursday, April 15, 2021.
